Monthly cohort meetings are a space to connect with other Brooklyn educators and students, get involved with our campaign to dismantle the school-to-prison pipeline, and organize for changes in our schools.
On February 26, educators and students will circle up to:
- share organizing strategies to create a Restorative Justice coordinator position at your school.
- share campaign updates and join efforts to call on the Mayor to fund Restorative Justice in our schools and stop appropriating school funds to the NYPD.
- use a dilemma protocol to hear from each other and build community.
Join us on Wednesday, Feb. 26 from 4:30 – 6:00 PM. We’ll be meeting at MS 839 (713 Caton Ave, Brooklyn). There will be pizza. RSVP below.
Bring your organizing priorities, ideas, coworkers, and students!
While we don’t provide childcare, cohort meetings are a child-friendly space. Babies and kids are welcome.
